Online Book Club

Join our Online Book Club!

Every day, Monday through Friday, you will receive in your email a five-minute selection from a chapter of a book. By the end of the week, you'll have read 2 - 3 chapters. Every Monday we start a new book. Sign up and start reading!

If you like what you've read, check out our online catalog and borrow it out!

Genre's include Fiction, Romance, Horror, Science Fiction, Mystery, Teen and Non-Fiction.

Coming Soon...

Twilight the movie, based on Stephanie Meyer's book will be released on December 12, 2008. Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) will be starring as Edward Cullen with Kristen Stuart as Bella.

The White Darkness

The Michael L. Printz Award is an award for a book that exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature. It is named for a Topeka, Kansas school librarian who was a long-time active member of the Young Adult Library Services Association of the American Library Association.

The John Newbery Award
The Newbery Medal was named for the 18th Century British bookseller John Newbery. It is awarded annually by the American Library Association - Association for Library Service to Children, to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American Literature for children.

The Alex Award
The Alex Awards, are funded by the Margaret Alexander Edwards Trust, which are announced annually in conjunction with National Library Week, honor the top 10 adult books for teenagers published during a calendar year.
