HKDPL Notable New Children's Books - December 2017
On November 18, a dedication was made in honor of the late Karen Weaver, a long-time trustee of HKDPL, an educator, and a friend to all. Many patrons, library staff and board members shared some stories of Karen and the impact she had on the library. The Karen Weaver Children's Room is located at mid-level floor of the Main Library in Garnerville. Along with the naming, a lovely new mural was also created in Karen Weaver's honor.
