Summer Reading Books in Spanish

Many titles on the NRCSD Summer Reading Lists, grades 1-6, are available in Spanish in both buildings!

Children's Book Committee Best Books of the Year

Each year the Children's Book Committee at Bank Street College reviews over 6,000 children's and young adult books and creates an annual list of the year's best. The committee is currently celebrating its 100th anniversary! Its printed lists have always been a valuable resource, but this year, for the first time, the list is available free online.

The list is organized by age and by category--so, for example, if you're looking for an adventure story for a seven-year-old, a nonfiction science book for a nine-year-old, or an historical novel for an eleven-year-old, you can find it easily. Click here to start finding books for your child!

Make a Splash at Your Library!

Dive into the fun of our Summer Reading Program this summer running from June 28 - August 11, for ages 5 and up. Open to children residing in the North Rockland School District. Bring your library card with you when you register. Sign up begins June 28.

Tickets for shows will be in your weekly loot bag. Get your loot bag by logging three books or 75 pages for the week. Programs and shows are age appropriate for Reading Club Members only. Below are a list of show for Summer Reading Club Members:
