We are proud to offer an excellent new service powered by eSebco to all our young readers. Read over 100+ children's and teen eBooks online or on your mobile device anywhere, any time, and for free!

Get started by clicking the banner above, enter the username "haverstraw" and password "public" (password is not case sensitive and please remove quotes when entering username and password), enter your 14 digit Haverstraw Library card number, and finally, enter your name. Once logged in, you can read eBooks by reading level, grade level, or subject with more being added every day!

Mr. Amazing's Circus Exploratorium

Sunday, February 5, 3 pm (Main Library)
Families welcome! Circus Exploratorium is a half vaudeville, half circus skills, and half science: packaged in an entertaining series of comedy vignettes in this 1/4 ring, pint-sized Circus-with-a-purpose. Free tickets available at both buildings starting January 23.

Share & Care Club

Mondays, January 9 & February 6, 10 am (Main Library)
An opportunity for parents and caregivers of infants and toddlers to discuss various parenting joys and woes. Share your secrets and learn tips from other families. While parents enjoy the discussion there will be a program provided for their toddlers in the next room. Registration begins 1 week before each program.

Coloring Club

Wednesdays, January 4 - February 1, 10:30 am
For children and their adults. Relax while you color in this unstructured ART for all ages. Enchanted Forest and other "Inky Treasures" coloring pages and pencils will be provided for adults. No registration, just drop in!

Family Movies

Tuesdays, January 3 & 10 and February 28, 6 pm
For ages 4-12. Enjoy a movie on our big screen at the mid-level! Caregivers must accompany children. No registration required.

Junior Builders Club

Wednesdays, January 4, 18 & 25 and February 8 & 15, 4:30 pm
For ages 3-7. Build with LEGOs, Lincoln Logs and K'nex! No registration required.

Maker Mondays

Comics Plus Library Edition

Read Comics Online at the Library for Free!

Come and read over 100 comic books at the Library using Comics Plus: Library Edition! Featuring top publishers and creators such as Archie Comics, IDW Publishing, Dynamite Entertainment, Image Comics, Red 5 Comics and more.

Start off by creating an account. Enter your email address and a password. Once logged in, you may browse the library, select a publisher or search for titles, and check out comics you want to read. Checked out titles will appear in your shelf which will be available for you to read for seven days. Expired comics will automatically check themselves in and you may borrow more comics afterwards.
