Baby Signs with Miss Fran

Thursdays, April 13, 20 & 27, 10:30 am
For b abies and toddlers 2 years old and younger. Join us for a unique hands-on class where you and your child will learn signs so that they can communicate before they can talk! This interactive fun class features music with guitar, songs, puppets, instruments, movement, sign language and laughter! Registration begins April 2 for HKDPL cardholders.

Camp Half-Blood Club

Thursdays, March 16 - April 13, 7 pm
For children in grades 4-6. Do you feel the need for adventure? Do strange things keep happening to you? Is your Math teacher a monster? (No, I mean for real!) Then join us for five weeks at Camp Half-Blood as we explore the world of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Discover the Greek god or goddess in your family tree, learn the difference between a centaur and the Minotaur, and undertake new weekly quests for glory. Registration begins March 2 for everyone.

Preschool Yoga with Miss Sue

For 3-4 year olds without an adult. Registration for this 4-week session begins March 1 for HKDPL members only. This playful class will move your child's body and enhance their imagination. Simple yoga poses will be incorporated into games, music, stories, and art. Increased body awareness, attention span, energy release, and relaxation are just some of the benefits of this FUN class!

For walkers up to 35 months and their adults. Stories, fingerplays, songs and bubbles! Parent/caregiver participation required. Registration begins 1 week before each program for everyone.

Science in Action!

For grades 4-7. Participate in fun chemistry, physics, and technology experiments to discover more about the world around you! Registration begins March 2.

Share & Care Club

Mondays, March 6 & April 3, 10 am
An opportunity for parents and caregivers of infants and toddlers to discuss various parenting joys and woes. Share your secrets and learn tips from other families. While parents enjoy the discussion there will be a program provided for their toddlers in the next room. Registration begins 1 week before each program.

Come and read over 100 comic books at the Library using Comics Plus: Library Edition! Featuring top publishers and creators such as Archie Comics, IDW Publishing, Dynamite Entertainment, Image Comics, Red 5 Comics and more.
