Our Children's Department provides our youngest patrons a welcoming, safe environment
where they may play games, explore, study, read, be read to and grow. We provide many children's programs for toddlers to tweens
from storytime to book clubs. Age-appropriate materials and technological equipment such as our early literacy stations, iPads, and more are available for use. For assistance, our staff will be more than happy to help!

Junior Art Show Call for Submissions

Are you an artist? Do you love to create? If so, please bring us a piece of your artwork to display in our Junior Art Show this December! All artists up to age 12 are invited to submit a piece of ready-to-hang artwork for the show.

Please attach a piece of paper or index card to the back of your work telling us the name of the artist, phone number, and the title of the piece. Please bring all submissions of artwork to the Children's Des by Monday, November 25th.

Explore 'A Universe of Stories' with the myON Digital Library

As part of Summer Reading at New York Libraries, the State Education Department and myON®, by Renaissance®, are partnering to bring thousands of enhanced digital books to children from birth through 12th grade and their families all around the state!

Access over 6,000 childrens books for free until September 30, 2019! Books may be accessed online from any web-enabled device.
